1985 BMW 635 CSi without mileage surfaced in Germany
In Germany, a curious copy of the classic BMW 6-Series was put up for sale - the 635 CSi coupe of the E24 generation in 1985 in its original state. The first and so far the only owner bought it and immediately mothballed it, so the mileage is purely symbolic - less than 500 km.
The BMW 6-Series coupe in the back of the E24 (1976-1989) with the famous "shark nose" is appreciated among fans of classic BMWs. For a rare copy, they ask for the amount of € 125,000 (= 11,370,000 rubles).
This BMW 635 CSi does not have a rich history. The coupe was purchased on November 20, 1984, delivered on January 21, 1985, registered on January 28, and then put into storage on the 29th. Thus, the sports car has never been used.
The owner's motivation was not disclosed. Perhaps he originally wanted to make a museum piece out of 635 CSi, or it was a kind of financial investment.
The coupe is equipped with a 3.4-liter inline-six with a capacity of 218 hp. and a 5-speed manual gearbox. Rear-wheel drive. The package includes power steering, ABS, on-board computer, alloy wheels, and power windows.
To date, the odometer shows a mileage of only 428 km, the car is in Germany. It is possible that the new owner will also hesitate to ride this rarity and will continue to preserve its museum value.
By the way, today the 8-Series coupe, a modern analog of the 6-Series, costs from € 90,850, that is, almost one and a half times cheaper than a 35-year-old car.
