In Australia to this day, you can buy the new legendary frame SUV Toyota Land Cruiser 79. The model is in demand among off-road enthusiasts, travelers, hunters, and just fans of high-quality old-school equipment. Local company EarthCruiser has completed the development of the XTR250 camper module for such a Land Cruiser.

The superstructure, designed for three people, is made of composite materials. One of the features of the XTR250 is the lifting roof. At first, it was planned to use a scissor mechanism, but it was replaced by vertical telescopic stops.

The top is lifted at the push of a button located directly at the front door. As a result, a sleeping place of 138 x 195 cm is formed. The living module provides a compact shower with a curtain and a folding toilet, an electric stove for two burners, a kitchen area with a table, and much more.

The built-in appliances are powered by 450 Ah batteries. A 270W solar battery is provided to charge it. The 3 kW inverter allows external 240V consumers to be connected, including an electric barbecue.

The XTR250 also includes a diesel cab heater, water heater, 80-liter freshwater tank expandable to 250 liters, drinking water tap with filtration system, and optional air conditioning.

As for the Land Cruiser 79, the pickup is powered by a 4.5-liter diesel V8 (205 hp and 430 Nm). Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The drive is plug-in full.

The estimated base price of a residential module is $ 183,000 (= 13,500,000 rubles). By the way, the Land Cruiser 79 itself with a single-row cab costs from $ 59,000 in Australia (= 4,365,000 rubles).
