In Russia, the third generation of the mid-size crossover Haval H6 has been patented, which premiered in July. Protection documents are published in the open database of Rospatent. Soon, the new product will probably begin to be produced at the Haval plant in the Tula region, since in October the body of the model was driven along the assembly line of the enterprise (the fan club of the Haval brand reported about this). Recall that until the middle of this year we were selling the first-generation H6 - it was not produced in Russia, it was brought from China ready-made.

The length, width, and height of the new H6 are 4653, 1886, and 1730 mm, which is 53, 26, and 10 mm more than the car of the outgoing model, the wheelbase is 2738 mm, plus 58 mm.

The H6 has received a number of signature Haval styling features, including a 3D-patterned grille, tapered LED headlights, and a front bumper with a black insert. The shaping of the body panels has become more character and sharp lines. At the rear, the lanterns combined with a horizontal stripe and the massive chrome molding draw attention to themselves.

Under the hood, the third-generation H6 has familiar motors from its predecessor. The base remained a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo with 169 hp. with direct injection (index GW4B15A). The top version of the H6 has a 2.0-liter turbo engine. There is no information about its characteristics yet, but, most likely, this is the same engine of the GW4C20B series as its predecessor, as well as the new F7 / F7X crossover, it also has direct injection, power - 224 hp. These engines can be localized in Russia: Haval is building a motor plant next to the main plant in the Uzlovaya industrial park. The gearbox of the H6 is a 7-speed "robot" DCT. Drive - front or full.

Note that in Russia, Haval sells four models - these are crossovers and SUVs: H5, F7, F7x, and H9. All of them are produced at a plant in the Tula region. The Great Wall Wingle 7 pickup truck is also sold separately; it is imported ready-made from China (Haval is part of the Great Wall concern).
